SARV

by Shatakshi

The one who is all. Everything. The whole. A name for the divine — for Vishnu, for Shiv — and a way of seeing that refuses to be small.

The name · नाम

Sarv means all. Everything. The whole.

In Sanskrit, sarv holds the universe inside four letters. It names the divine as the one who is all — a word worn by Vishnu and by Shiv. Elegant on the tongue in any language. Memorable. And most of all, unbound: a name that does not belong to a dupatta, a saree, or a single season.

Chapter I · अध्याय

Always a curious child

Before the fabrics, before the sets, there was a girl who noticed everything — the way light fell through a temple lattice, the weight of a well-worn dupatta, the quiet order inside old ornament. Curiosity became her first apprenticeship.

Chapter II · अध्याय

Then, as the universe would have it

A prestigious institute in Noida gave her the grammar; set design gave her the voice. She began shooting for some of the country's most storied houses — learning that the most enduring images are the ones built with care, not noise.

The concept · दर्शन

Not a product line. A way of seeing.

SARV is for the modern Indian who still keeps a temple in the house. Who wears a white dress to the sea and a chikankari kurta to the ghats. Who does not choose between rooted and restless. Between heirloom and now.

Modern. Traditional. Universal.

Sarv is not bound to a category. What begins with cloth may one day be an ornament, a ritual, a room. The name will hold.
